IT Business Analyst

Job Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from users and stakeholders for system development and improvement initiatives.
  • Analyze existing business processes, identify gaps and pain points, and recommend technology-based improvements.
  • Translate business needs into functional requirements, business rules, process flows, user stories, and system requirements.
  • Prepare and maintain business and functional documentation such as BRD, functional specifications, use cases, and process flows.
  • Collaborate with business users, IT/development teams, and vendors throughout development, integration, testing, and implementation.
  • Prepare test scenarios and support SIT/UAT, including issue tracking and requirement validation.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Information Systems, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2–4 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst, System Analyst, or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of requirement gathering, business process analysis, functional analysis, and SDLC.
  • Experienced in preparing BRD/FSD, user stories, use cases, process flows, and UAT scenarios.
  • Able to communicate effectively with both business users and technical/development teams.
  • Knowledge of API/integration, databases/SQL, WMS, TMS, ERP, logistics, or supply chain systems is an advantage.
