Job Responsibilities

Purpose

  • Manage end-to-end import operations and regulatory compliance for Indonesia, ensuring timely customs clearance, permit management, and accurate reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle end-to-end import shipments and coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, PPJK, shipping lines and 3PL.
  • Apply, monitor and manage PI (Persetujuan Impor) for Garment, Steel and Wood products.
  • Manage import quotas and liaise with relevant Indonesian authorities.
  • Prepare and submit MOT reports accurately and on time.
  • Review and validate PIB drafts, AJU, SPPB and customs documentation.
  • Monitor PI quota utilization and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Coordinate LS, COO/Form D/E, invoices, packing list, BL and insurance.
  • Track shipment status until delivery and resolve customs issues.
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, shipping reports for management review
  • Maintain import records and support audits.

Job Requirements

Knowledge & Skills

  • In-depth knowledge of Indonesian import regulations.
  • Hands-on experience with PI Garment, PI Steel and PI Wood applications.
  • Strong knowledge of import quota management with Indonesian authorities.
  • Expertise in MOT report submission via INATRADE and related government portals.
  • Strong experience checking PIB, AJU, SPPB and customs documentation.
  • Knowledge of HS Codes, customs valuation and preferential tariffs.
  • Excellent coordination and communication skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree with 3+ years of experience in shipping, import, customs compliance or logistics.
