Job Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive and holistic nursing assessments for students and staff.
- Establish appropriate nursing diagnoses based on assessment findings.
- Plan, implement, monitor, and evaluate nursing care interventions.
- Provide first aid, emergency nursing care, and coordinate referrals when necessary.
- Deliver nursing consultations to students, parents, and school staff regarding health concerns.
- Conduct health promotion and disease prevention programs within the school community.
- Provide health education, teaching, training, guidance, and counseling to students, parents, and staff on healthy lifestyles, hygiene, nutrition, mental well-being, and preventive healthcare.
- Educate students about medical procedures and treatments they receive to reduce anxiety and encourage understanding.
- Manage the daily operations, medical supplies, documentation, and administrative functions of the Notre Dame Puri Indah School Health Center.
- Ensure compliance with school health protocols, infection prevention standards, and applicable healthcare regulations.
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and school leaders to support students' overall health and well-being.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Head of Campus Ministry related to the operation and development of the School Health Center.
- Prepare and submit periodic work reports and health service reports to the Head of Campus Ministry.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree (S1) or Diploma (D3) in Nursing with a valid Registered Nurse (STR) and relevant professional practice license (if applicable).
- Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience; experience as a School Nurse or in pediatric/community health is an advantage.
- Competent in emergency response, first aid, and basic life support (BLS certification is preferred).
- Able to conduct nursing assessments, implement nursing care, and provide health education.
- Possess strong interpersonal, communication, counseling, and documentation skills.
- Patient, caring, compassionate, and able to work collaboratively with students, parents, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficient in maintaining medical records and preparing health reports.
- Physically and emotionally fit to work in a dynamic school environment.
- Ability to adapt to and support Catholic-based character development in education while respecting the school's vision, mission, and values.
