We are seeking a talented and creative Social Media Specialist to join our Marketing & Communications team at Mighty Minds Preschool. This is a full-time position based in Jakarta Raya. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing and managing our social media strategy across multiple platforms to enhance our brand presence, engage with our community and attract prospective families to our preschool. You will play a crucial part in building our online community and establishing Mighty Minds Preschool as a thought leader in early childhood education within the Jakarta region.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies across platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and LinkedIn to align with organisational goals and target audience preferences
• Create, curate and schedule engaging content including posts, stories, reels and videos that showcase our preschool facilities, educational programmes, student activities and success stories
• Manage daily social media activities including responding to comments, messages and enquiries in a timely and professional manner to build community engagement
• Monitor social media analytics and performance metrics to track campaign effectiveness, audience growth and engagement rates, providing regular reports and insights to inform strategy refinement
• Collaborate with internal teams including educators, management and marketing staff to gather content ideas and ensure messaging consistency across all platforms
• Design and implement social media campaigns to promote enrolment, special events, educational initiatives and seasonal programmes
• Stay updated with the latest social media trends, algorithm changes and best practices to ensure our content remains fresh, relevant and competitive
• Manage social media budget and paid advertising campaigns on Facebook and Instagram to maximise reach and engagement amongst target demographics
• Build and maintain relationships with parent communities, responding to feedback and fostering a positive online brand reputation
• Conduct competitor analysis and identify opportunities to differentiate our brand messaging and content strategy

• Proven experience of at least 2–3 years working as a Social Media Specialist, Digital Marketing professional or similar role within the education, childcare or family services sector
• Demonstrable expertise in managing multiple social media platforms with a strong understanding of platform-specific best practices and audience behaviour
• Proficiency in social media management tools such as Buffer, Hootsuite, Meta Business Suite or similar platforms
• Experience creating visually appealing and engaging content including graphic design, video editing or photography skills (or willingness to learn)
• Strong understanding of social media analytics and ability to interpret data to optimise campaign performance and inform strategic decisions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft compelling copy that resonates with target audiences
• Creative thinking and ability to generate innovative content ideas that align with brand values and resonate with families and educators
• Knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and LinkedIn algorithms and best practices for each platform
• Fluency in Indonesian and English (both written and spoken) essential
• Strong organisational skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
• Familiarity with early childhood education, child development or family-focused organisations is highly desirable
• Experience with paid social media advertising and budget management is preferred
