Job Responsibilities
- Assist in developing lighting design concepts that align with the architectural vision and client brief
- Prepare lighting layouts, fixture schedules, and design documentation across project stages
- Research and specify lighting fixtures and controls suited to project needs and budget
- Liaise with architects, consultants, and clients to coordinate design and technical requirements
- Support tender and construction documentation
- Attend project meetings, site visits, and design reviews
- Assist with on-site lighting focusing, testing, and commissioning as required
Job Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Lighting Design, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Photoshop; familiarity with SketchUp, Revit, or lighting calculation software is a plus
- Strong design sensibility, good communication skills, and ability to manage multiple projects
- Team player with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced studio environment
