Job Responsibilities
- Installing IoT devices (sensors, gateways, PLCs, controllers).
- Understanding device configuration manuals with Modbus RTU and Modbus TCP protocols.
- Network configuration (LAN, WAN, WiFi, VPN).
- Integrating devices with the cloud/IoT platform.
- Commissioning & testing systems on site.
- Performing preventive maintenance on IoT devices.
- Performing corrective maintenance when malfunctions occur.
- Monitoring system performance in real time.
- Analyzing root causes (hardware, software, network).
- Repairing sensor errors, data communication malfunctions, or server downtime.
- Documenting (reporting) and submitting project progress reports to superiors.
- Documentation of cables, IP addresses, and configurations.
- Coordination with IT, production, and vendor teams.
- Providing basic training to operators/customers.
- Maintaining the confidentiality of company and customer technology.
- Coordinating with the Sales Engineer team, clients, and other related parties.
- Contributing to product/project development.
Job Requirements
- Minimum D3/S1 degree in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related majors).
- Min. 1-3 years of experience working as a field engineer in industry, manufacturing, or engineering projects.
- Understanding of measuring instrument calibration (pressure, temperature, flow, pH, etc.), operation and maintenance of WWTP (Wastewater Treatment Plant).
- Able to install, calibrate, and maintain industrial measuring instruments.
- Understanding of wastewater treatment processes (physical, chemical, biological).
- Able to read technical drawings and technical documents.
- Skilled in troubleshooting technical equipment and systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic technical software (AutoCAD, basic PLC, etc.).
- Communicative and able to work in a team.
- Disciplined, and highly initiative.
- Willing to travel for work / mobile projects.
- Possession of a driver's license (A/C) is an added advantage.
