Job Responsibilities

Lead and manage the company’s Legal & Compliance functions to ensure that all business activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, and regulatory requirements.
Provide legal advice and opinions to management regarding legal aspects of operational activities, financing products, business partnerships, and corporate decision-making.
Ensure the company’s compliance with OJK regulations, POJK, SEOJK, and other regulations relevant to the financing industry.
Conduct legal reviews of partnership agreements, contracts with vendors/partners, financing agreements, NDAs, MoUs, and other legal documents.
Identify, evaluate, and mitigate legal and compliance risks that may impact the company.
Monitor regulatory developments and provide regulatory updates to management and relevant departments.
Develop and review policies, SOPs, guidelines, and internal procedures to ensure they comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
Oversee the implementation of compliance monitoring and ensure follow-up on findings from compliance reviews, internal audits, and regulatory inspections.
Coordinate with the OJK, legal consultants, notaries, auditors, industry associations, and other external parties on matters related to legal and compliance issues.
Ensure the implementation of regulations related to consumer protection, APU-PPT/AML-CFT, personal data protection, corporate governance, and other relevant compliance requirements.
Provide training or awareness sessions to employees regarding legal and compliance awareness.
Prepare periodic reports on compliance status, legal risks, regulatory updates, and legal issues for management.
Lead, develop, and evaluate the performance of the Legal & Compliance team

Job Requirements

Minimum bachelor’s degree in Law
At least 2–3 years of experience in a managerial position.
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the multifinance/financing company, banking, leasing, or financial services industries.
Possess a strong understanding of OJK regulations and applicable legal provisions in the financial services industry, particularly regarding financing companies.
Understand aspects of corporate law, commercial contracts, regulatory compliance, consumer protection, APU-PPT/AML, data privacy, and risk management.
Proficient in legal drafting, contract review, legal research, and legal analysis.
Possesses strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Able to provide practical legal advice focused on business solutions while maintaining compliance.
Possesses strong leadership, analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Meticulous, highly principled, able to maintain confidentiality, and possesses a strong compliance mindset.
Able to work independently as well as collaborate with various departments.
PERADI/Attorney, Certified Compliance Officer, or related compliance/financial services certifications are a plus.
Proficient in Indonesian; English proficiency, particularly for reviewing and drafting legal documents, is a plus.
