As the Science Coordinator, you will :

• Provide academic leadership for the Science Department to ensure high-quality teaching and learning across all Science subjects.
• Mentor, coach, and support Science teachers in lesson planning, instructional strategies, classroom practices, and assessment.
• Oversee curriculum implementation to ensure consistency, academic quality, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with school leadership to establish departmental goals, academic programmes, and strategic improvement initiatives.
• Analyse student learning data and assessment outcomes to identify areas for improvement and recommend targeted interventions.
• Coordinate departmental meetings, collaborative planning sessions, and professional learning activities.
• Support the development of innovative Science programmes and engaging laboratory learning experiences.
• Maintain an active teaching role with a reduced teaching load while modelling effective classroom practices.
• Foster a collaborative culture that promotes professional growth, innovation, and student success.

• A Bachelor's degree in Science Education or a related Science discipline (Master's degree preferred).
• At least 2 years of Science teaching experience.
• Experience in curriculum coordination, subject leadership, or mentoring teachers is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of curriculum planning, assessment, and effective Science pedagogy.
• Excellent leadership, coaching, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• An excellent command of spoken and written English.
