Yamatake has been serving the Indonesian market since 1970s, with PT. Berca Indonesia as distributor. In 1997 the commitment grows further in strength in a joint venture between Yamatake Corporation and PT. Berca Indonesia (CCM Group) with the establishment of PT. Yamatake Berca Indonesia (presently PT. Azbil Berca Indonesia). In 2006 the Group philosophy and symbol, azbil, are formulated and in 2008 the Yamatake Group name is changed to the azbil Group. In order to reinforcing the azbil Group's international business promotion initiative, from April 2009 Yamatake Corporation to add azbil to the names of overseas affiliates. Therefore on April 1, 2009 PT. Yamatake Berca Indonesia became PT. Azbil Berca Indonesia and on April 1, 2012 Yamatake Corporation became Azbil Corporation. Now, PT.
